Lynn McDowell started freelancing with magazines at the age of 17. Her life-long involvement with publications includes experience as a newsroom reporter and feature writer for a daily newspaper, and initiating two award-winning in-house magazines. Documentary writing and production led her to the community volunteer arena, and as a junior board member of a city arts council, she facilitated the creation of an award-winning monthly arts publication with the city newspaper.

The Napa Valley’s fusion of the three cultural components she values most—art-integrated living, community involvement, and wine—enticed her to relocate here to apply her broad PR experience, and she’s since earned volunteer stripes at Premier Napa Valley, the St. Helena Hospital Gala, Taste of Howell Mountain and Auction Napa Valley.  Working at the Hess Collection as director of public relations whetted her appetite for what’s become her career passion: turning up unrecognized and under-utilized PR assets and employing them in an integrated winery public relations program.    

 

Based in Napa Valley, Tim McDonald founded a full service marketing communications consulting company in 2006. As a 25 year wine industry veteran, Tim held positions with; E & J Gallo as Marketing Director Fine Wine Communications, Peak Wines as V.P. of Marketing & Communications, Director of Trade Relations with Trinchero Family Estates, Heublein Wines as Director of Trade & Public Relations and sales assignments with Seagram and Heublein.

Tim has experience with all types of Media, National Accounts, Wholesale Distributors, Restaurant, and Retail segments. Tim has served as a Wine Judge at over 100 Wine Competitions here in North America and spoken frequently on assembled panels at many wine industry events.
